A Bavarian in Mecklenburg - Actor Leo Reisinger reads from his book 2.11. - 5 p.m. - Seehotel Frankenhorst
Leo Reisinger reads "Bavarese":
Early in the morning, when the chic crowd in Munich's posh clubs are still dancing on the tables between champagne and coke, the lights are already on at the wholesale market. Here, Sepko works his ass off as a henchman. The shifts are hard, the pay meagre. Others make the real money from the restaurateurs - even beyond the law. Sepko falls in love with Lene, who shops at the wholesale market at dawn every day. To keep herself and her son afloat, she delivers to a small customer base with her rickety delivery van. But he's not the only one fighting for Lene's heart: Pfeiffer, restaurateur and future Oktoberfest host, has money and influence. Unknowingly, Sepko's efforts to win Lene's heart unleash a spiral of violence that escalates inexorably and even calls upon the hidden forces of organized crime.
