From June 16 to 20, 2025, kultur.schule invites you to a project week at its locations in Malchin, Demmin, Altentreptow, Stavenhagen and Dargun. The doors will be open to people of all ages who want to try their hand at art, discover new things and get creative together. The varied program includes offers from the fields of music, art, dance and media - free of charge and without prior registration.
During the week, participants can look forward to a wide range of workshops suitable for both beginners and advanced students. Anyone interested in music can try out various instruments, take part in singing workshops or expand their knowledge of music theory. The project week also offers numerous creative opportunities in the field of visual arts - from painting and collages to new artistic techniques. Dance enthusiasts will also get their money's worth, as both traditional and modern choreographies are on the program. Those interested in media will have the opportunity to get to know the world of digital design and realize their own projects.
A special highlight will take place at the end of the project week: On June 21, 2025, the meadow behind the kultur.schule Malchin will be transformed into a large open-air stage from 11 a.m.: the Fête de la Musique - the globally celebrated festival of music - will once again make a stop in Malchin and invites all music enthusiasts to join in the celebrations free of charge. It will be organized by students from the kultur.schule and artists from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and all over Germany. Admission is free and visitors will also be catered for.
With this week, the kultur.schule would like to create an open space for artistic encounters and encourage everyone to get involved in creative processes - regardless of previous knowledge, age or origin.
