A musical underwater fairy tale (10+) for young and old
Poseidon rules the seas as a beloved king and has two daughters: Anemone and Coralia. Coralia falls ill and the court physicians are at a loss - she becomes paler and more feeble every day and the life slowly drains out of her. The king is very worried and announces that the prince who finds a cure for his daughter Coralia will be allowed to marry her. Prince Coca Coola has been in love with Coralia for years and immediately sets off on his quest, accompanied by the curious Anemone and the court genie Genny. Along the way, they will meet many interesting sea creatures and experience exciting adventures... but will they find the cure?
A bittersweet fairy tale in which poetry and reality mingle on a highly topical subject, and at the same time an enchanting underwater opera collage. Piano and percussion accompany the action with music by Beethoven, Mozart, Handel and Verdi, supported by recycled instruments made from plastic and garbage - and even the fantastic costumes are made from second-hand and recycled fabrics!
