An organ concert on the occasion of Reformation Day - the great Johann Sebastian Bach is a must!
Over the course of ten years, Bach compiled a four-part collection of keyboard exercises. Exercises today stands for Lehrwerk. The third part of the Clavierüb7ngen comprised 77 pages. Bach thus demonstrated his high level of composition and playing technique, which requires the player to engage with and deepen their knowledge of the music.
Matthias Pech is predestined for this.

He has been working as a church musician at St. Nikolai since 2003. He has demonstrated his musical versatility in numerous performances as an organist, conductor and chamber music partner, including in other European countries. In addition to organ improvisation, his work focuses on composing choral music in particular. He was appointed church music director in 2016.
Bach's words on these "Clavierübungen": "Made for the enjoyment of lovers...".
