On August 25, Mark Rose and Christian Florié will play an excerpt from their two albums and completely new pieces. It will be a unique concert evening that will get the tranquil church in Mechow swinging with blues, country, soul and jazz and transport the audience from the Feldberg Lakes directly to the banks of the Mississippi. Monday night in Mechow city.
After a two-week stay in New Orleans in spring 2014, Mark Rose and Christian Florié decided to form a band.
They adhered to the most important rule of this fascinating city and just got on with it, anything was allowed.
And so, in April of the same year, the band's debut album "NOLA" was born - a purist duo CD, recorded in their living room at home, with a drum kit and a couple of guitars.
The name NOLA stands for New Orleans in Louisiana and soon became the name of the band, which would never have existed without this enchanting city.
Mark Rose and Christian Florié present their own songs from, around and about New Orleans in Louisiana AND the beautiful life in Mecklenburg. Music without borders, which is constantly created anew on stage and which cannot deny its roots.
Their second album "Second Line Parade" has now been released, recorded on the Mississippi and the Spree with the help of some musical guests.
