Broock Castle, a late baroque manor house at its core, was built in 1770-77 by Major General Chr. B. von Linden.
After more than 40 years of vacancy, looting and decay, the building changed hands in 2017 and has been under construction since 2018. A supra-regional cultural and conference center is being built in Broock. The new Broock village store serves lunch, coffee, cake and hearty meals at the MidsummerRemise. The café and beer garden is located in the former kitchen garden on Dorfstraße.
