About the Behrenshagen manor house and park
The Behrenshagen estate is located in the immediate vicinity of the Recknitz, the border river between Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Vorpommern. For several years, the owners Roberto and Britta Siebenbürgen have dedicated themselves with great care to renovating the manor house and restoring the historic park.
In the process, old lines of sight have been uncovered, dendrological features preserved, replacement planting carried out according to historical models and large quantities of garbage removed. The result is an estate that is blossoming again and now offers space for cultural events and nature-oriented living.
The grounds include an orchard and a park-like area that serves as a habitat for 15 bee colonies. The farm's own beekeeping is complemented by the cultivation of special pumpkin varieties that are rarely commercially available. Chickens and geese complete the lively picture of a sustainably managed estate.
