Together and as soloists, Gerlint Böttcher and Fermín Villanueva unfold the entire spectrum of musical expressiveness - from Beethoven's glittering clarity to Brahms' dark warmth. Framed by Bach, Mendelssohn and Saint-Saëns, the result is a program full of depth and tonal sophistication.

Gerlint Böttcher develops a tonal language of extraordinary depth and brilliance at the piano. Her touch is crystal clear, her sound of nuanced lightness - she knows how to bring music to life. Her concert activities have taken her through Europe, Asia, America and the Middle East. She has performed at renowned festivals and six highly acclaimed albums document her stylistic diversity. As a teacher, she gives international master classes and is a juror at competitions such as the International Mendelssohn Piano Competition in China. Trained at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin under Renate Schorler (concert exam with distinction) and influenced by Georg Sava and Bernard Ringeissen, she has won prizes at international competitions and received funding from the German Music Council and the state of Brandenburg, among others. In 2014, she founded the Schlosskonzerte Königs Wusterhausen festival, which she has directed with great artistic ambition ever since. She also teaches at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin.

Fermín Villanueva, born in Pamplona (Spain), studied cello with Prof. Asier Polo at the Basque Country School of Music "Musikene". After graduating with a Bachelor's degree, Villanueva continued his studies at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Academy of Music and Theater in Leipzig with Prof. Peter Bruns, graduating with a Master's degree with distinction. He then completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Music in Vienna with Prof. Reinhard Latzko. He has been principal cellist of the Magdeburg Philharmonic Orchestra since 2018. As a soloist, he has performed with leading orchestras and has made guest appearances at major music festivals. Spanish fire, great passion and sensitivity enchant audiences worldwide.
