Abstract and classical painting and upcycling kites
LUPINALE 2025 - ... in search: Viewpoints and perspectives
Kunsthaus Lübz - Center for Circular Art presents:
Ramona Schimkowiak will exhibit a fine series of classic watercolors and drawings and also show her new, abstract works for the first time. These paintings, placed on the raw, ragged walls of the Kunsthaus, unfold a special power and form an interesting connection with the architecture.
Bernhard Schaugstat - Lübzer Urgestein - the master of upcycling. Every day at the sewing machine needle, he transforms old shopping bags, umbrellas, discarded soft toys and whatever else we throw away into special flying kites that like to touch the sky in strong winds. We can now show some of them in the Kunsthaus.
Other current exhibitions that are also open and can be viewed:
Johannes Terbach "Kiesel und Köpfe" (objects and material compositions)
Heike Büttner "Wandlungen und Anverwandlungen" (material experiments)
Mari Meyer "Auf Forschungsreise" (fluid art)
Karin Rhehorz "Was mich ausmacht" (photography)
Angela Polleis-Brandt "PappART" (objects and figures/upcycling)
