Guided tour in nature with my bee colonies at the edge of the forest. Swarm:Experience intelligence - How does a bee colony live and organize itself?
Bees - a superorganism - have existed on earth for over 100 million years according to current scientific knowledge. Humans have been using these wild animals for at least 10 thousand years.
They have adapted to the most diverse conditions to this day - whether as wild or cultivated honey bees.
What characterizes a bee colony? How does a bee colony live? How does a bee colony organize itself?
We will explore all these questions using a cultivated bee colony and be surprised at what we could learn from the bees.
We will also learn how bees feed and keep themselves healthy and how these products are also given to us directly from nature as a means of living and healing for our health.
There will also be enough space for individual questions.
Time frame and location of the meditation at the bee colonies:
The guided tour is planned for a period of approximately 1.5 hours.
We meet at the parking lot of the Malchow climate forest, opposite the Malchow riding stables. Together we will walk about 1 km from the parking lot to my bee colonies. I'll tell you about the bees and we'll get in the mood for connecting with nature.
The event will not take place in case of rain or storm.
Preparation for the meditation at the bee colonies:
We stop by my bee colonies at the edge of the forest. We are close to the bees and will encounter free-flying bees and other animals of the forest (e.g. wood ants). Contact with animals, e.g. bee stings, is not excluded. Participation is at your own risk.
I recommend that all participants refrain from using strongly scented body care products on this day. Please do not use hairspray either. The bees can be confused by the scents and interpret you as an enemy.
If you have a known bee sting allergy, please consider for yourself whether a visit to the bees is an option. If a severe allergic reaction with severe symptoms (e.g. shortness of breath etc.) is known, I would advise against a visit or, if so, recommend taking a suitable anti-allergy medication with you. If you have mild symptoms, there should be no reason not to visit. In this case, I recommend keeping a suitable distance from our bees. Each participant should carefully consider what applies to them personally and what is best for them.
There are some beekeeping veils available for the head, especially when we open a beehive and look directly at the combs and bees.
It is not only on warm & sunny days that I recommend taking something to drink in sealable containers.
Please switch off your cell phone or leave it in the car, this radiation can also irritate the bees.
A socially acceptable dog can be brought along by prior arrangement if it is kept on a lead during the tour and behaves calmly.
Please contact me again one day before the planned tour. At this time we can accurately assess the weather, in case of heavy rain & storm the tour will not take place.
We will be outdoors the entire time. Therefore, please wear comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather. It is possible that a bee may sit on your clothes. This is not dangerous. However, the following items of clothing are not suitable: Fleece jackets and tight leggings - the bees will get their feet stuck there and feel threatened.
Afterwards, the delicious and fortifying products from my apiary can be purchased on site.
