Garden culture and landscape experience in Neu Reddevitz on the Rügischer Bodden

A richly structured grass and perennial garden with old rose varieties and structural shrubs invites you to look around and linger. A combination of garden perennials and wild herbs such as oregano, sage and speedwell has developed in the perennial beds that have been artfully integrated into the slope, with flowers in all seasons and a highlight at midsummer. Together with the wild fruit trees, a refuge for birds, bees and butterflies has been created.

The garden tour is followed by a scenic walk with nature awareness on the Bodden beach. The path leads between tall perennials with reeds, beach rush, willowherb and colorful flowering dry grassland along the dyke to wet meadows and broom heath with a wide panoramic view over the Greifswald Bodden.

We will perceive and experience the different atmospheres, get to know characteristic plants and observe the natural structure of the Bodden coast.
