and baking bread flatbreads at the summer vacation event
This event takes us far back in history.
From the Stone Age 6000 years ago to the Migration Period 1600 years ago, our ancestors used granite stones as grain mills. In the troughs of these trough mills, grain was ground into coarse flour by hand using grating stones. You can find out where the granite stones came from and which types of grain were first cultivated by grinding flour in one of the trough mills in the museum courtyard. Afterwards, you can shape your flour into a flat cake with water and bake it into bread. Enjoy your meal!
Contribution towards expenses: €5.00 (including admission to the museum)
