The Herakles concept: The four-part film series (1998 to 2015) at Künstlerhaus Lukas takes place in cooperation with Lutz Dammbeck. Lutz Dammbeck loves crossing borders. He is a filmmaker, conceptual artist and author - an artistic border crosser in whose films and media productions the artistic genres flow together - he calls this the Heracles concept. It can be understood as a kind of Gesamtkunstwerk that deals with the culture of the 20th and 21st centuries, with the abysses of utopias and counter-utopias and with the intertwining of aesthetics, art and politics in many different ways.
