Ahoy, the summer will be colorful! On 17.07.2025, the Local Alliance for Families of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund invites you to the big family festival on the city beach from 15:00 to 17:30. Members of the family alliance, including Stralsund businesses, the district and city administration and clubs, will be organizing a colourful program for young and old. Admission to the event is free.
Sports activities, arts and crafts, painting activities and a rally at the alliance partners' stands invite you to join in. Dance and music will provide entertainment on a stage. Gastronomic offerings round off the program.
"Over the years, the family festival at the lido has established itself as a place for people to meet and get together. The event offers families with children, but also all other interested parties, the best entertainment and the opportunity to exchange ideas with the alliance partners in a great atmosphere," says Annett Mülling, spokesperson for the alliance.
The Local Alliance for Families of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund is a voluntary association of small and large local companies, public administration, clubs and associations. Under the patronage of Lord Mayor Dr. Alexander Badrow, the network is committed to improving living and working conditions for families in Stralsund. The regular activities of the alliance, which was founded in 2008, include the family festival at the lido, awards for family-friendly companies and the Bibolinchen parents' meeting place in Stralsund's municipal library.
