For all ages 4 and upDuration: approx. 45 minutes Who doesn't know the fairy tale of "Hansel and Gretel"; about the two siblings whose stepmother sent them alone into the forest to collect berries? There, the children get lost and arrive at a witch's cottage made of candy. The composer Engelbert Humperdinck turned this fairy tale into a wonderful, late Romantic opera that continues to delight young and old to this day. In an arrangement by Helen Mills based on Humperdinck's opera of the same name, the wind quintet of the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra will perform. The school concert will be presented by the singer Alexander Mildner.
