Drawings by Ernst Volland in the Jahn Chapel Klein Vielen
The piece of fruit, the vegetable, the fruit of technology - Ernst Volland sees them somewhere, sees something in them, redraws them, draws them in, and from that moment on, the pear is no longer a pear, the mandarin more than a tropical fruit, the blossom resistance, the rose scissors enigma. Let the drawings inspire and surprise you.
About the artist: Ernst Volland was born in Bürgstadt in 1946. After graduating from high school in Varel, he studied fine arts in Hamburg from 1967 and in Berlin until 1972.
