Saxophonist, singer and presenter Andreas Pasternack is one of the best-known and most popular artists in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. He has made guest appearances in Poland, Belgium, Japan and the USA and hosts his own weekly radio show on NDR 1 Radio MV. Thanks to his inimitably charming and humorous stage presence and his almost unsurpassable musical diversity, he has gained a fan base that now extends far beyond the borders of MV.

In 2007, Andreas Pasternack was awarded the Cultural Prize of the Hanseatic City of Rostock and, together with the State Youth Jazz Orchestra, the Cultural Promotion Prize of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
