Once a year, you can also admire the beauty of nature on the big screen: At the Darßer NaturfilmFestival, we present six days of outstanding German and international nature and environmental film productions. Twelve films will be competing for the German Nature Film Award 2024 with the most moving and aesthetic images of the year. Multivision shows, readings, nature expeditions and a specialist program for the film and nature industry will also attract visitors to the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula. What began modestly in 2005 is now an impressive event. The festival is now one of the most popular nature and environmental film festivals in Germany. Filmmakers and guests from all parts of the country travel with the migrating cranes to the Darß in the middle of the idyllic Vorpommersche Bodden landscape national park in the fall.
