The ensemble LE RÉCRÉATION plays works from the time of Caspar David Friedrich on historical instruments. With fortepiano, flute, clarinet and viola works by L. v. Beethoven, W. A. Mozart, Ch. Ph. Neefe, Ferdinand Ries and others.

To mark the 250th anniversary of CDF's birth, in this concert we look at the painter's youth,
and look for the roots of his art, also in the compositions of his time.
The musicians will play music on original instruments from the 18th century.

Viennese grand piano maker Anton Walter.
