Holiday flats

A winery is to be built in the midst of the wonderful nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The first vines are growing on gentle hills. In the village of Hasseldorf there are also two yurts as special accommodation.

As a unique nature experience in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District - far away from the hustle and bustle and stress - there are two yurts for guests here. The yurts combine the originality of traditional nomadic houses with modern comfort. Surrounded by fields, lakes and forests, you will find a stylish retreat here. The yurt by the ash tree and the yurt by the apple tree are approx. 30 square meters in size, have a fully equipped kitchen, a large double bed and large floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass dome. This allows guests to lie in bed and watch the stars. There is a private bathhouse with hot water shower and WC. Thanks to the insulation with sheep's wool and hemp as well as the wooden stove, this accommodation can be used all year round. The surrounding area attracts visitors with its vineyards, forests and natural swimming lakes in the gently rolling landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland.

    Ivenack Castle

    • Am Schloss, 17153 Ivenack

The older, middle part of the castle dates back to the 16th century - the monastery building. A first extension took place in 1709 and after passing to the Imperial Counts v. Plessen around 1750. The semicircular stables, the orangery, the tea house and the church also date from this period. Around 1810, the castle was again extended by two wings. Since 2016, it has been renovated in accordance with the preservation order. The 1000-year-old Ivenack oaks in the former animal park are Germany's first national natural monument.
