"Pictures of a year" - The picture exhibition of 2 artists shows drawings, paintings on wood, canvas and photography, which were created in the period from May 2015 to May 2016.

The painting studio of Astrid Keimer and Andreas Keimer-Nielsen has now moved into the church in Boitin-Resdorf. Their work focuses on the ongoing exploration of the process of becoming, change and elementalization.

All the thoughts that go through the artists' minds flow into the design process. Everything that is perceived as superfluous is reduced in order to get to the core of the picture. The motif comes at the end of the process, figurative or abstract.

The former inner-German border strip, the "Green Belt", is virtually predestined to be further enhanced by the creation of new forest areas. So it was only logical to add another climate forest to the existing ones in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern from summer 2010. The first planting campaign took place in April 2011. The total area consists of three parcels of land, two of which were reforested as part of the planting campaign with the Schwerin energy supplier WEMAG.
