The Müritz-Havel waterway connects the Müritz with the Havel. This federal waterway begins at Priepert, at the Ellbogensee, and passes through various lakes and locks. With an average of 40,000 vehicles, the Diemitz lock is the busiest lock in the district of the Water and Shipping Directorate East. The lock connects the higher situated Mirower waters (Zootzensee, Schwarzer See, Vilzsee) with the Labussee above Canow.
Directly at the Diemitz lock, you will find the Beaver Holiday Farm with accommodation and leisure facilities, restaurant and drama stage.
