An exciting time awaits you at the experiential education school camp Sonnenkamp. Build a real raft as a team and sail it on the lake. And if you dare, balance at a height of 10 meters in our high ropes course.
On the historic grounds of Sonnenkamp Monastery, near the guarded lake bathing area with sandy beach, jetties, slide, diving board and swimming islands, we offer experiential education action days, class trips, youth trips and vacation camps.
Experiential education activities include experiencing one's own limits and learning self-assessment. The accomplishment of seemingly unsolvable tasks and the overcoming of obstacles promote self-confidence through the discovery of previously undreamt-of strengths. They remain in positive memory for a long time due to the ability to grow beyond oneself and help to develop lasting courage and openness for new, unknown things.
Drawing on this educational concept, we consciously set group-building processes in motion with a diverse range of experiential education courses and other team-building activities: climbing and abseiling in the high ropes course and on crates, balancing in the low ropes course, canoeing and raft-building on Lake Neukloster, intuitive archery, cooperative team and adventure games, forest and night hikes.
These experiential education courses and activities can also be booked by families, children, teenagers and young-at-heart adults as individual courses on weekends and during vacations.
