The neo-Gothic building was erected around 1860. During reconstruction before World War I and in the 1980s, the original appearance of the manor house was greatly changed. Many design elements were lost during the reconstruction of the house. The manor was privately owned until 1928. The manor house was sold to a private investor by a regional housing company in the 1990s. The Pöglitz manor house, which is currently in need of major renovation, is a listed building.
