Castles and Manors, Holiday flats

Vacation in the pre-Pomeranian manor house with family connection and plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

The former manor of the von Schwerin family has always been liberal and hospitable.

And even today, the hosts live in the house together with the Great Dane "Einstein" and the cat "Hamlet" and are happy to have company.

In the park, there is a barbecue and fireplace and secluded corners for reading and relaxing.

Four guest rooms with the melodious names Wilhelmine, Rosalie, Charlotte and Elisabeth - inspired by the former residents of the manor house - are located in the south wing. All rooms have private bathrooms with shower or bathtub and cozy sitting areas. They are charmingly and colorfully furnished with vintage furniture and are heated by wood stoves.

The centerpiece on the first floor is the communal kitchen with a large dining table. All the house guests can share this kitchen and thus tell about the day's experiences in a convivial atmosphere.

The surrounding nature is wonderful to explore. Hiking, biking, swimming or boating - an excursion to the Baltic Sea coast of Western Pomerania or to Anklam is also worthwhile.

Schloss Sophienhof - The house in the park

A beautiful spot surrounded by greenery. A homely place, full of peace, history and the power to relax. And the scent of freshly baked goods and mown grass is often in the air. This is probably the best way to describe the Schlosspark Sophienhof cultural venue.

Kotelow hunting lodge

The manor has belonged to the v. Oertzen family since 1672. The single-story baroque house, built in 1773, ends with a mansard roof. The courtyard entrance is gabled over a beautiful oak entrance door with a frontispiece. On the garden side there is a 3-axis central risalit with a terrace in front. Old wooden floorboards are preserved in the interiors. The house was extensively and authentically renovated and is now open to guests as a hunting lodge.
