At Kunsthaus Koldenhof you can experience contemporary art in changing exhibitions, readings and realize your own creativity in various workshops.Opening hours: 29.April-03.October: Thu-Sun 11.00 - 17.00 hrs

The village of Koldenhof is located on the shores of Lake Dolgen. The Kunsthaus Koldenhof was created from the former country inn in 2015. The intention to take time for art and culture has made the house a popular meeting place in a short time.
The gallery is dedicated to the presentation of contemporary art with care and shows works by national and regional artists in changing exhibitions.
From May - September, readings take place on the last Thursday of every month, usually ending in intense conversations in the adjacent garden.
Week-long courses are also offered on, for example, sculptural design, yoga, calligraphy or drawing in nature. There are no limits to one's own creativity.
In addition, 4 vacation rooms are available and selected handicrafts and design are offered in the small store.

In its nine exhibition rooms and large garden, the Hans Fallada Museum offers insights into the life of the storyteller who lived in the house from 1933 to 1944. Guided tours, readings, lectures and literary walks take place throughout the year. Audio tours, listening stations and films on Fallada's life complete the offer.

The present church dates back to 1758 and is made of cut rocks. 1.60 m thick is the so-called cyclopean masonry. The special feature of this church is its ground plan as a regular octagon with an inner diameter of 10.25 m.
