The 2.1 km circular walk is named after Grand Duke Georg, during whose reign (r. 1816-1860) the Schlosskoppel developed into a deciduous woodland park. The walk leads from the Großer Borkenhäuschen to the Hobebrunnen and the Tabula. The path is lined with interesting trees, a small pond and a variety of resting places. The Luisenstein commemorates a visit by Queen Luise of Prussia, who took a walk in the Schlosskoppel with her brother Georg a few days before her death.
