The tour takes you to the small towns of Mirow and Wesenberg, in an area that lives up to its name "Land of 1000 Lakes". Many small and idyllic lakes stretch along the tour and invite you to take a break or enjoy a swim.
As this is a circular tour, you can start at different locations and cycle in both directions. We start the tour in Seewalde, a district of the municipality of Wustrow, where you can enjoy regional delicacies in the health food store. We continue via Canow to the Diemitz lock on the small Peetschsee lake. In summer, it is a hive of activity here - large and small boats can be seen passing through the locks. The route continues past the Fleether Mühle mill, where a large beer garden invites you to stop for a bite to eat at a water hiker transfer point, and on via Peetsch to the small town of Mirow, which gained international fame as the birthplace of the English Queen Sophie Charlotte. The route continues north through the small villages of Babke and Blankenförde, which are located in the Müritz National Park. The next stop is the Woblitz town of Wesenberg with its time-honored castle complex, the Gothic church of St. Marien with its Röder organ, the erratic boulder garden and the Museum of Tin Toys. Before the circular tour ends in Seewalde, the route passes the Ahrensberg house bridge. Not only is there a fishing farm here, but also a unique structure in northern Germany - the Hausbrücke.
