The tour starts and ends at Neustrelitz town harbor. If required, you can hire bikes and Movelo e-bikes from the harbor information office. Right at the start, you will experience the unique European city layout of the residential town with its market square and town church. Through the Bürgerhorst you reach the Voßwinkler lock on the Kammerkanal, where you can watch the leisure boats being locked. In Wesenberg on Lake Woblitzsee, it is not only the castle that is worth a visit. The route continues via Zwenzow and Useriner Mühle. You can find out all about wolves at the Zwenzow wolf trapping facility. During the season, take the opportunity to swim in the cool water at the Useriner Mühle bathing area. Via Groß Quassow and Lindenberg, you return to the city harbor through the wooded Neustrelitz Schlosskoppel. On this last section of the route, a visit to the Slavic village is recommended from May to October. The castle garden with the Hebetempel, the memorial hall for Queen Luise of Prussia and the stables can be experienced all year round.
