The tour starts at the market square in the royal seat of Neustrelitz and leads around the Zierker See lake to Prälank. Pedal hard once or twice more and you are in the Müritz National Park. A fairytale forest trail takes you via Langhagen to the national park village of Kratzeburg. The route continues via Dalmsdorf and Granzin into the car-free core zone of the Müritz National Park. The variety of landscapes shaped by glacial processes, the large contiguous forests and the many lakes make this national park unique. At the end of the core zone, keep right and after a few kilometers you will reach the Käflingsberg tower. Climb the 167 steps and enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the national park. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Waren (Müritz), Neustrelitz and Neubrandenburg. The route continues via Speck to the national park village of Schwarzenhof. Optionally, you can make a detour to the Federow National Park Information Center. A camera broadcasts the breeding activities of the nearby osprey nest live into the building. From Schwarzenhof, the route continues south. Lots of forest, wide moors and observation points set up in special places allow you to enjoy the landscape. We highly recommend the "Doppelkiefergraben" viewing platform with its paradisiacal view of the Müritz. The tour continues via Boek and Amalienhof to the next viewing point, the Zartwitz fish ponds. With a bit of luck, you may even spot an osprey or sea eagle here. In the last stage, you will get to know the small Mecklenburg villages of Schillersdorf, Babke, Blankenförde, Zwenzow, Useriner Mühle and Userin. You finally reach your destination, the Neustrelitz city harbor, along the Schlosskoppel.
A little tip: don't forget your binoculars!
