The region of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district is very scenic. Above all, however, it can be experienced. Whether on horseback, by bike or on the water. In the field of active tourism there are many offers. Because for nature lovers this landscape is just right.

For horseback riding and carriage driving friends especially experienceable: the stud trail connects the state stud farm Redefin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with the main and state stud farm in Neustadt a.d. Dosse in Brandenburg. 170 km on horseback to consciously escape from everyday life.

History and nature

The combination makes it. The preservation of old, historical stock by the integration of modern elements, is practiced successfully in many places. Some of these buildings are now used for other purposes and are also venues for concerts, performances and festivals.
