An evening in a string quartet
"Young Elite": The platform for the stars of tomorrow! In individual concerts, young musicians compete for a place in the award-winning family and the audience gets the chance to get to know artists at the beginning of their careers.
Four young American musicians who have made it their mission to cultivate a relaxed relationship with the audience, allow closeness and create special experiences form the Isidore String Quartet, founded in 2019 and revitalized after the pandemic in 2021. In addition to works by Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Britten, their program includes a contemporary piece inspired by Canadian composer Dinuk Wijeratne's curious theft of the Mona Lisa from the Louvre in Paris in 1911. The musicians also performed the work at their successful debut in New York in 2023, marking its US premiere. Now it comes with you to the enchanting village church of Fincken.
