Piano trios by Clarke, Sørensen and Schumann
"Young Elite": The platform for the stars of tomorrow! In individual concerts, young musicians compete for a place in the award-winning family and the audience is given the chance to get to know artists at the start of their careers.
The Avin Trio once again brings a young ensemble to the Alte Kachelofenfabrik that is seeking its own fresh approach to classical music. Two works have already been written especially for the piano trio. In Neustrelitz, it will present a piece by the contemporary Danish composer Bent Sörensen, who is known for a sound concept that works with spherical echoes and repetitions. A composer from the first half of the 20th century is also represented in the program: the British composer Rebecca Clark. But the young artists also demonstrate their skills with Robert Schumann's Piano Trio No. 1.
