The Warnemünder Stapellauf has been an established run for everyone since 2017, and with its familiar size is the perfect local alternative to the big fun runs. There are three routes to choose from for runners of all ages, and the public is very welcome!
This year, the established "Warnemünder Stapellauf" will take place for the 2nd time in spring. On May 24 from 2:30 pm, three distances will be opened again: 3 cable lengths (555m) for small runners (AK 6-9), 3 nautical miles (5.55km/ AK 10 and up) and 6 nautical miles (11.11km/ AK 14 and up). As in previous years, the 3 cable lengths will be run directly on the organizer's campus - the Department of Maritime, Plant Engineering and Logistics at Wismar University of Applied Sciences. The 3-mile run starts on campus, leads through the Warnemünde town towards the promenade and ends back on campus - the same for the 6-mile run, which, however, extends to the Küstenwald/Wilhelmshöhe in between.
As usual, registration will take place online, but late registrants still have the opportunity to do so directly on site on May 24.
Participation in the event is free of charge for all students, parking is available in the immediate vicinity and a large audience is very welcome! Drinks and barbecue will be available so that running enthusiasts, their companions and spectators can fortify themselves after the run in a convivial atmosphere for the award ceremony and the subsequent raffle.

The organizing team is looking forward to lively participation and a sporty and lively spring event on campus!
