The Wallensteintage Stralsund is a historical folk festival with a long tradition. It is the largest historical folk festival in northern Germany.
The traditional Wallensteintage of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund will take place again in 2024!
Jugglers, craftsmen, taverns, musicians, dancers and of course you, the historical inhabitants of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund since 1628 and guests from distant lands.
The historical program begins at the Alter Markt, in the venerable world heritage shadow of St. Nikolai and the town hall. A colorful stage program, historical stalls and goods, as well as food and drink await you here every day.
Just as authentically, stalls and program areas stretch through the Kniepertor to the Hansawiese directly on the Sund!
Look forward to the Stralsund city guard, cannon shooting, the plague procession, children's food and many other great experiences.
Highlights such as the baroque fireworks and the parade will also take place again.
Even more awaits you in the modern part of our event!
It will start at the Nikolaikirchhof with young, local stands, where there will not only be a great atmosphere with music, food and drinks to linger!
The Störtebeker "Nordisch-Hell" beer garden also awaits you here.
Along Semlower Straße, a modern merchants' mile awaits you with the aim of reaching the fish market, where another stage with various artists and gastronomy, as well as a bouncy castle awaits you.
The new market also promises adventure and great rides.
