Two places - 225 years of history
An excursion with the SIGNUM saxophone quartet to the Neu Kaliß paper mill!
"Unheard-of places" - the successful project of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival - is entering the next round: paper has been produced in Neu Kaliß for 225 years and two factory halls are opening their doors to us for short concerts, guided tours and talks. Station 1, the old paper mill, founded in 1799 and in operation until 1992, is now an industrial monument. Today, specialty papers and the famous Melitta filter bag are produced at a new location in Neu Kaliß - our Station 2. Here you will experience the musical finale in the impressive paper warehouse.
