As the largest brackish sea on earth, the Baltic Sea with its changing mixture of salt and fresh water presents the underwater world with special challenges. The Baltic Sea exhibition and Baltic Sea aquariums at the OZEANEUM invite you on an underwater journey through the small inland sea and along the diverse coastal landscapes with their typical biocoenoses. The tour takes a closer look not only at the fish, invertebrates and algae of the Baltic Sea, but also at the birds, marine mammals and plants of the Baltic Sea region.
