Horst Ludwig, born and raised in Thuringia near the state capital Erfurt, has been painting since his earliest youth. His passion for horses and his love of life is reflected in his numerous paintings, sketches and entire thematic areas. The collections of works are multi-layered, whether oil on canvas, watercolor or ink, pen and ink or charcoal stories, moments and scenes captured in pictures.
