... This was also a piece of Mecklenburg in the 19th century: A soiree with chamber music and architectural stories - Charity event organized by the Schwerin local board of trustees of the German Foundation for Monument Protection

Wulf Kawan, local curator of the DSD in Schwerin, reports on little-known details from the history of the Schwerin castle church.

Songs by Sophie Westenholz (1759-1838) and Fanny Hensel (1805-1847) will be performed.

The performers are Schwerin-born Sophia Maeno - mezzo-soprano, Helena Weinstock-Montag (Schwerin) - flute, Susan Doering (California, USA) - violin, Reinhard Wulfhorst (Schwerin) - viola and Dieter Wulfhorst (California, USA) - violoncello.

Admission is free. Donations in favor of the German Foundation for Monument Protection are requested.
