The Bony King of Nowhere
For the fifth and last time this year, it's "Poly Unique Session in the Alte Kachelofenfabrik". The Bony King of Nowhere is the project of Belgian musician Bram Vanparys. With his band, he fascinates with a unique blend of indie folk and singer-songwriter sounds reminiscent of Boby Dylan, Radiohead, Neil Young and Nick Cave. His songs are not only thought-provoking, but also give strength and hope on gray days. Just the right thing for the fall.
Bram Vanparys recently left a lasting impression with the release of his critically acclaimed album Silent Days and the award for "Best Writer/Composer" at the Music Industry Awards (MIA). In February, he released his new, sixth album Everybody Knows.
The songs deal with topics such as the daily grind and blind obedience, well-worn social paths and behavioral patterns, the ignorance of so-called "big shots" and the disadvantages of modern online communication. Inspired by the observations of various sociologists, Vanparys dissects what is probably the loneliest society in human history on his new album.
The last tour took The Bony King of Nowhere through the Netherlands and to Belgium, Germany and France for around 75 shows.
With the fifth concert of the Poly Unique Sessions, The Bony King of Nowhere is now also making a stop in Neustrelitz.
