"Philippe Huguet brings Jacques Brel back to life. What was once said about the great Belgian also applies to Huguet: he doesn't sing chansons, he lives them.

After completing his training as a primary school teacher, the French-born singer took singing and acting lessons at the conservatory in Besançon, continued his vocal training in Mulhouse (Alsace) and then obtained his diploma as an opera singer at the Mannheim University of Music.

During his studies and in the years that followed, he took part in numerous productions in Germany and France both as a singer (opera, musical and chanson) and as an actor (theater), and was also able to gain further valuable and wide-ranging experience as a director, author and composer with his own and other people's plays.

For several years now, he has been successfully translating this versatility into solo and duo programs. Currently, he is particularly interested in the chansons of Jacques Brel, as they offer him an exciting and rich repertoire with which he is passionately involved.
