Come with us on the occasion of the hiking spring on a photo expedition along the high shore path from Sassnitz to the Königsstuhl. Welcome together with your tour guide the island spring in the Jasmund National Park.
The spectacular chalk coast of Jasmund is one of the few remaining remnants of "primeval landscape" in Central Europe, a true coastal wilderness, crowned by the green fringe of old beech forests.
During our almost five-hour high shore trail tour from Sassnitz Wedding to the Königsstuhl, discover the harbingers of spring in one of MV's most precious natural landscapes and photograph breathtaking views of white cliffs, delicate green beech forests, wild flint beaches, vast Baltic Sea, distant horizons. Your guide is not only the photographer of the National Park Center, but also a studied forester and is happy to introduce you to his wonderful photo area in the joint hiking discussions.
Along the way, you will learn more about the worthiness of protection of our northern landscape, the national park idea, the UNESCO World Heritage Old Beech Forests, the Tree of Europeans, real climate forests, biodiversity in original forests, ecosystem services of healthy forests for all of us.

Departure and arrival possibilities:
Feel free to use the parking lot near Sassnitz town hall. From here it is only 15 minutes to the meeting point. You are also welcome to take the bus (line 18) to the meeting point.
From the National Park Center KÖNIGSSTUHL, the destination of the hike, you can take the bus (line 23) back to Sassnitz (stop Hauptstraße) again.
