Troy lies in ruins. The Trojan prince Aeneas flees across the Mediterranean to the palace of Carthage, where he is granted asylum. Dido, the queen of Carthage, falls in love with him, and Aeneas falls in love with her. Director Andreea Geletu sets up the work semi-staged in the courtyard of Rheinsberg Castle with Lake Grienerick in the background.
