The National Natural Heritage Lübtheener Heide is one of the outstanding natural areas in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. During the bike tour under the motto "Legacy and gems" you will learn a lot about the different habitats on the former military training area, the history of the former village Quast and the effects of the major fire in 2019.
Decisive for its high nature conservation value are the large open habitats and the partly very old pine stands.
