I started landscaping the overgrown and littered plot in 2011. I had planned a few shrubs and lawns. But sometimes things turn out differently. Today, around 140 roses, 75 hydrangeas, 60 lavender plants and 90 boxwood balls thrive in the garden. The centerpiece is the pear tree, planted around 1895, which is the oldest and largest pear tree in Stralsund's old town.
