Meet two globetrotters on their way from Baltic Blues to Brazil and listen to light as a feather floating melodies and rapid virtuosity across all registers of their instruments.
Pianist Jan Luley studied piano in Arnhem in the Netherlands and is now one of the exceptional musicians on the German music scene. No one else combines Creole folk songs, Brazilian choros with ragtime, swing and jazz on the piano. This is world music in the best sense of the word, interpreted in a unique way. He is accompanied by Thomas l Étienne on the clarinet. The musician with French roots lived in New Orleans for a long time. "BOONOONOONOUS" is a word from the Creole patois of Jamaica and means "wonderful". The duo's music can be "infinitely melancholy but also exuberantly cheerful". Look forward to a "brilliant keyboard artist" in a duet with clarinet and saxophone.
