No matter how you look at it - the Chemnitz musician MIRIAM SPRANGER is a real multi-talent.
Not only does she write her own music, she also produces it. She is also responsible for the artwork on her CDs, as well as numerous music videos (over 150 to date), which can be found on her YouTube channel. It currently has over 5,600 subscribers and over 1 million clicks! Musically located somewhere between pop, folk and what we call singer/songwriter in this country, she sometimes performs with Loop Station, sometimes minimalist, multi-faceted concerts where no two are the same. She knows how to respond to her audience, be it with wit, charm or pure honesty. And that is exactly what makes her so likeable: authenticity!
Intelligent texts, sometimes loud, sometimes speechless, sometimes cheeky, sometimes thoughtful and packed with irony in the right places - these are the ingredients for stories that everyone has experienced at some point & in which you can find yourself. Small, seemingly insignificant things as well as deeply moving ones without succumbing to self-pity, and yet not everything is autobiographical. Special attention is always paid to her mother tongue. She has supported Jennifer Rostock, performed on stage with Dirk Zöllner and is even a familiar face for Annett Louisan.
With her fourth studio album "Trugschluss" and her first children's song CD "Hallo hallo", she is now back on the streets of the country.
Her motto: It's still best to read between the lines!
