Groß Lüsewitz Castle is located in the Groß Lüsewitz district of Sanitz in the county of Rostock.
The building is a palace complex in the neo-Renaissance style. Friedrich Ferdinand Biermann had the new manor house built between 1896 and 1898 according to plans by Gotthilf Ludwig Möckel. It is a two- and three-storey plastered building with a differentiated ground plan and elevation, using cast stone for framing and decorative forms. The building is accentuated by a high octagonal tower at the south-east corner. In this area, the building has slender corner columns and curtain windows and fan-shaped lunette gables. The renovated and refurbished castle houses vacation apartments and offices for the company Neue Energien Ingenieurplanungen GmbH. Civil wedding ceremonies and concerts take place in the historic foyer.
