For the first time, Kaeselow Castle will be open on both days of MidsummerRemise 2025.
The Kaeselow manor house west of Schwerin Castle was built around 1860 in the Tudor Gothic style. Since fall 2024, the new owners Claudia and Vincent have been living their dream here. Previously, the Hienstorfer family had lovingly looked after the property since 1992.
In the park and adjoining forest, chickens and geese stroll among the old trees. A bridge leads to a small island with the old "castle lake", which is awaiting renaturation. The large meadow in front of the house also invites you to linger.
Dogs are welcome on a lead. Parking is available on the street.
Program Saturday, 21 June and Sunday, 22 June 2025:
- 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.: Guided tours of parts of the house every hour on the hour
- from 11 am: coffee & cake
