Pretty little village festival at the Bek on the meadow of the Moritzdorf ferryman.
Kay-Uwe Strandmann has to eat a particularly good breakfast this morning. Because on Friday, July 1, from 2:00 p.m. on the meadow between his house and the pier of the smallest European rowing boat ferry starts the annual "meadow festival at the ferryman". The muscular Moritzdorfer will carry the visitors of the festival the approximately 50 meters over the Baaber Bek. And for this he also puts in a short night shift. Until 11:00 p.m. he will start rowing on the call "Ferryman, fetch!" or the bell signal and transport people, animals and bikes. If you come to Moritzdorf by car, you can park it at the large parking lot at the entrance of the village and change to two horsepower. The Sellin spa administration will provide its guests with a carriage on this day - free of charge, of course.
In addition, partners of the spa administration take care of the most tender meadow flowers as usual lovingly and cheerfully with varied children's entertainment and there are many delicacies from the regional cuisine.
